1: Transaxillary Breast Implant Incision, in which an incision is made through a canal placed in the natural fold of the armpit tissue;
2: Periareolar Breast Implant Incision, which involves making the incision around the circumference of the areola (the pink or brown skin around the nipple);

☐ Where the implants will be placed in your breasts
Breast implants may be placed either:
1: Subglandular – putting the breast implant directly behind the mammary gland, but in front of the muscle; or
2: Submuscular – breast implant is positioned completely behind the chest muscle wall.
