Celebrities Who Have Had Plastic Surgery
Celebrities Who Have Had Plastic Surgery
In the famous words of Dolly Parton, “If I see something sagging, bagging, or dragging I’ll get it nipped, tucked or sucked!” Almost everyone has something that they would like to change about their body – and at AMAE Plastic Surgery we help our Troy, Mi area patients make these dreams a reality.
While plastic surgery used to be a “big secret” among actors and a-listers, influencers and celebrities now openly admit to their delight with using surgical enhancement to get the face and body they have always wanted.
So, who are some of the most famous people to recently have had plastic surgery?
Real Housewives Who Have Had Plastic Surgery
While they might not be like the housewives on your street, the “Real Housewives” from Bravo TV are known for having cosmetic procedures done on the regular. From The Real Housewives of New York, Sonja Morgan and Leah McSweeney have both been upfront about their procedures. Leah, on Instagram wrote, “I can’t wait to show off the new and improved girls” following her breast augmentation in December of 2020.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann from Real Housewives of Atlanta has been an open book on multiple procedures, from tummy tucks to lip injections, and more. And while some ant to go “all out” many celebrities just “want a tune up,” like Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes. The NeNe Leakes approach to a more subtle “surgical tweakment” is one we regularly see at AMAe Plastic Surgery in the Troy, MI area.
Other Reality Stars and Plastic Surgery
The Real Housewives aren’t the only reality stars who have had plastic surgery. Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has been open about getting lip fillers, breast augmentations, a nose job (rhinoplasty), and vaginal rejuvenation procedure.
From the Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise fame, Amanda Stanton has said after breast feeding her second child, that she finally opted for a breast augmentation after waiting years to have one.
Celebrity Breast Implant Surgery
Many times, plastic surgery comes from necessity. That was the case for Angelina Jolie, who possesses the BRCA1 gene, which increases the risk of developing breast cancer. Jolie had a preventative double mastectomy with reconstructive surgical breast implants to remove the risk.
Ariel Winter, star of the ABC comedy series Modern Family, underwent a breast reduction in 2015 from size 34F to a more proportionate and comfortable size 32D. Winter told Glamour Magazine, “I had a lot of back problems. I really couldn’t stand up straight for a long period of time.” Once her neck began hurting so badly that it was causing difficulty with her spine, she knew it was time to turn to plastic surgery to relieve her pain.
But other celebrities – like Aussie rapper, Iggy Azalea and The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco – are just looking to enhance their appearance. Azalea told Vogue magazine in April 2015 she had gotten breast implants after thinking about getting them “her entire life.” Kaley Cuoco told Cosmopolitan that getting breast implants was “the best decision I ever made.”
Celebrity Nose Job Plastic Surgery
For other stars, their nose takes center stage … of their face, and of their plastic surgery experience. Jennifer Aniston has said her rhinoplasty surgery was the “best thing I ever did”. And Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale – known for her roles in High School Musical and the Suite Life of Zack & Cody – also had a nose job allegedly to fix a deviated septum in order to help her breath better.
Supermodel Tyra Banks preaches natural beauty, but, as she revealed in her memoir, Perfect is Boring she also elected to have rhinoplasty surgery. And after her nose job she became one of the most successful and highest paid supermodels in the industry!
Other notable celebrities who have had nose jobs include Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling, and fitness star Jillian Michaels who said, “I had my nose done when I was 16 years old, and I’ll be honest, it did change my life.” In an even bigger “glow up”, Hills star Heidi Montag, at 23 years old, had a head-to-toe makeover with 10 cosmetic procedures in one day including Botox, chin reductions, and a nose job!
Celebrity Plastic Surgery for Eyes
One of the first things most people notice about someone is their eyes. Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes was born with unusual webbing between her eyes. She decided to have this birth defect surgically removed. And, The Talk co-host Julie Chen, early in her career, wanted her eyes to look bigger. So, she opted for plastic surgery as a solution. In 2013 she said, “And after I had it done, the ball did roll for me,” referencing her “eye job” procedure.
