How Long is Recovery from Eyelid Lift Surgery?
At AMAE Plastic Surgery, eyebrow lift surgery is typically performed on an outpatient basis. This means that while they will require having someone drive them home, eyebrow lift surgery patients are able to return home the same day as their surgery.
Eyebrow lift surgery patients generally do not experience very much pain. That said, any discomfort can be managed with medication -either prescription or OTC- as needed.
For the first few days following their procedure, eyebrow lift surgery patients will experience some minor swelling, bruising, and numbness in the treatment area. For the first 48 hours after eyebrow lift surgery, patients will also be advised to apply ice to the treatment area. After 5 days or so, patients can usually return to work.
