Recent Study Shows the Effectiveness of a Face Lift
A study recently conducted in England and Scotland shows that over ¾ of facelift patients look younger five years after surgery than before they had the surgery. The study used a range of objective and subjective measures, including measuring jowl height and chin to neck angle as well as an overall subjective measure of the participants appearance. The findings indicate that 76 percent of patients will still look younger 5-1/2 years after their facelift (than prior to the facelift), showing strong evidence that facelifts provide excellent long-term aesthetic improvements.
The study is scheduled to be published in the December issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
