Patients may also notice slight redness in the treatment area, but they are free to return to work or daily activities immediately.
Patients are, however, advised to avoid direct sunlight in the week following RF microneedling, and should wait a day or two before applying makeup. Our caring staff will instruct patients as to which sunscreens, after-care moisturizers or skin care products should be applied to the treatment area.

Yes! Unlike many laser skin resurfacing treatments, radiofrequency microneedling is safe for even darker skin tones. This is because laser wavelengths are absorbed by the pigment in the skin, blood vessels and hair follicles.
